NOTES ABOUT OUR CUTTERS:
*** BEST PRACTICES for use with POLYMER CLAY ***
*Start with your CLA Y on a GLASS, or CERAMIC surface. It’s a good idea to use a surface you can easily transfer into the oven to minimize any unnecessary handling.
* Use CORNSTARCH, to PREVENT STICKING. Plastic wrap over your clay is also a brilliant method for working with micro/tiny cutters, and gives a domed appearance.
* STAINING can happen, and clay can STICK. If you need to CLEAN YOUR CUTTERS, use a BRUSH, or a TOOTHPICK, some WARM SOAPY WATER, or RUBBING ALCOHOL, but NEVER use the DISHWASHER.
* Avoid DIRECT SUNLIGHT, or HEAT OF ANY KIND.
Our cutters are made with the artist in mind <3 Designed with a .4mm tapered edge, the SUPER CLEAN CUT, makes everything more efficient, with LITTLE TO NO SANDING! (If it appears there’s something there to sand, you can easily run your finger over the edge before baking, easy as pie, and still super efficient)
Disclaimer: Although, we do our best to produce perfect pieces every time, I have to admit I am human, and Patrice, my assistant, is a 3D Printer. We both have days where we’re off :)… SO, if you see imperfections on the piece, I GUARANTEE that it has nothing to do with the cutting edge. Quality Control, is a priority.
